D-balance 40000 Licap – 10 Pcs

Indication: For the prevention & treatment of Vitamin D3 & associated diseases like Osteomalacia, Rickets, Fractures, Preeclampsia, Eclampsia, during pregnancy & for the management of Cardiovascular & Diabetic profile.

Dosage & Administration:

 

Severe Vitamin D Deficiency: 25 (OH) D level <12 ng/ml	For rapid correction 50000 IU once/week for 6-10 weeks, if needed followed by maintenance therapy (2000 lU/day)
Vitamin D Deficiency: 25 (OH) D level <20 ng/ml	40000 lU once/week for 6-10 weeks, if needed followed by maintenance therapy (2000 lU/day)
Vitamin D insufficiency: (25 (OH) D level 20 to <30 ng/ml)	20000 lU/week for 6-10 weeks, if needed followed by maintenance therapy (2000 lU/day).
Prevention of Vitamin D deficiency	20000 lU/month

***Each of the above dose should be followed by maintenance therapy (800-2000 lU/day). Follow-up 25 (OH) D measurements should be made approximately 3 to 4 months after initiating maintenance therapy to confirm that the target level has been achieved. Dosing for Vitamin D deficiency in Children:  

Vitamin D deficiency (12-18 years)	20000 IU, once every 2 weeks for 6 weeks
Prevention of Vitamin D deficiency (12-18 years)	20000 IU, once every 6 weeks

 

Preparation: D-balance^TM 2000 Licap: Each Box containing 30 Licap in 30’s Alu-Alu blister pack. D-balance^TM 20000 Licap: Each Box containing 10 Licap in 10’s Alu-Alu blister pack. D-balance^TM 40000 Licap: Each Box containing 10 Licap in 10's Alu-Alu blister pack. D-balance^TM 50000 Licap: Each Box containing 10 Licap in 10's Alu-Alu blister pack.
